GMC Yukon

The GMC Yukon is a 4-door truck available at your GMC dealer. The Yukon came in four configurations: Hybrid, Denali, SLT, and SLE. The SLT configuration is powered by the 5.3-liter eight-cylinder engine, which makes 20 - 22 highway miles and 15 - 16 city. The Yukon competes in the Sport Utility market segment, in direct competition with Hyundai.

Standard equipment in the Yukon for 2007 and 2008 includes the 5.3 liter engine by General Motors, weighing in at 8 cylinders and sixteen valves. A 4-speed Automatic Transmission puts the power of the Vortec engine to the pavement. The has proven to be a popular configuration for the Yukon.

The front brakes are disc while the rear brakes are disc. Steering is handled through a power-steering rack-style configuration. The Yukon uses power-assisted brakes, with 4-Wheel ABS support. Load balancing is provided by coil front springs and coil in the rear.
