GMC Sierra 1500

GMC has been blessed with many award-winning designs, including the GMC Sierra 1500 of 2003. There are five trim levels to the Sierra 1500, including SLE, WT, SLT, and Base. The SLT version is one of the more popular options. Like in 2002 the popular 5.3 liter Vortec has made this a popular choice for extended cab pickup buyers across the country.

Fuel Efficiency

The Sierra 1500 SLT received a miles-per-gallon rating of 15 - 16 in-city driving and 19 - 21 when it came to long-distance. Being a flex-powered hybrid truck, this was exceptional.

We Think…

There are several reasons why the GMC Sierra 1500 SLT sold well in 2003. Mainly the increase in availability and a marked improvement in quality meant the buying public was more apt to choose a GMC, specifically a Sierra 1500.
